Our story

Denise Zolinski and Paige Woodruff, the visionary founders of Pure Medical Spa, established the spa in 2023 with a shared passion for aesthetics and wellness. With a combined nineteen years of experience in the industry, they bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their craft. Holding multiple licenses and certifications, Denise and Paige are dedicated to staying at the forefront of the field through continuous education and skill refinement. Their proactive and detail-oriented approach ensures that they provide the highest standard of care to their clients. Their warm and compassionate personalities create a welcoming environment where clients feel valued and supported. At Pure Medical Spa, Denise and Paige are committed to helping clients achieve their ultimate skin health by integrating evidence-based procedures and cutting-edge technologies. Meet Our Team

Denise Zolinski, LME, CMA

Denise Zolinski is co-founder of Pure Medical Spa. Denise is a Licensed Medical Aesthetician, Certified Medical Assistant and is a highly skilled aesthetic provider. She brings with her numerous certifications and over twenty years of experience from internal medicine and plastic surgery. Denise feels extremely honored to bring her passion for skin health and well-being to the Great Lakes Bay Region. She believes that creating healthy skin naturally results in a more youthful appearance. Her greatest satisfaction is helping her clients along their journey to achieving confidence. When not at Pure Med Spa you can find Denise boating the Great Lakes with her husband Pete and three sons, Brandon, Reid and Logan enjoying life to the fullest.

Paige Woodruff, LME, BA

Paige is a co-founder of Pure Medical Spa and has been working in the aesthetic industry for seven years. She is a Licensed Medical Aesthetician, a Licensed Permanent Cosmetic Artist and carries numerous medical procedure certifications. Paige also obtained her Bachelor’s in Business Marketing and Management from Northwood University where she graduated from in 2014. She has spent the last five and a half years working in a medical spa where she has found her niche and passion in building close relationships with her clients while walking with them through their aesthetic journey to becoming the happiest version of themselves. Outside of Pure Med Spa Paige enjoys spending time with her husband Jonah and daughter Lennox. They enjoy going on camping trips in the summertime and making memories with their closest family and friends.

KRISTEN MILEWSKI, RN

Kristen Milewski obtained her Registered Nurse license from Riverside Nursing School, VA where she graduated with high honors. Her nursing career experience includes working in a Cardiac Intensive Care unit for three years as well as twelve years in a pre- and post-op surgical care unit. In 2017, Kristen had the great opportunity to pursue her passion in aesthetics and became a Registered Nurse Injector with extensive training from Allergan Aesthetics. With over six years of aesthetic experience, combined with her warm, caring, and compassionate spirit makes her the perfect fit here at Pure Medical Spa. Kristen understands that each patient is unique and develops treatment plans per patient versus using a “one-size-fits-all” approach. Kristen is committed to staying at the forefront of aesthetic innovation and science and participates regularly in continuing education to ensure that patients experience the best technology and techniques available. When not at Pure Medical Spa you can find Kristen and her husband Jeff enjoying time at her family cabin in northern Mi at the beach, boating, and water skiing. She is a busy mom of two amazing teens, Lauren and Max.

TORRIE LORENZ, RN, BSN

Torrie is a registered nurse who specializes in aesthetic treatments. She earned her BSN (Bachelor of Science in nursing) at Saginaw Valley State University. After completing her degree, Torrie went on to obtain her medical aesthetic injector certifications. Torrie is certified through the American Academy of Facial Aesthetics, and is certified through Allergan Pharmaceuticals for Botox, and fillers. In the past, Torrie has worked as a traveling nurse, in orthopedic and neurological medicine and as a leader in her role as a nurse manager in telemetry.

Torrie truly exemplifies the mission of the practice, which is to be a positive force in the lives of patients. Treating them with genuine kindness, and respect helping them to achieve their aesthetic goals through safe and effective treatment.

When not at Pure Medical Spa, you can find Torrie enjoying time with family and friends hiking, boating, and kayaking, and spending time with her pup Waylon.

Nicole Anderson

Licensed Aesthetician

Meet Nicole, a highly dedicated and experienced esthetician whose true passion lies in enhancing natural beauty and promoting skincare wellness. Her genuine and compassionate nature sets the stage for an extraordinary experience, leaving clients feeling refreshed and deeply cared for.

What sets Nicole apart is her unwavering commitment to providing personalized experiences for each client she serves. Whether it’s a revitalizing facial, precise waxing or brow shaping that frames your features perfectly, Nicole’s artistry and attention to detail shine through in every service she offers.

Clients can place complete trust in Nicole’s expert guidance as she carefully curates top-notch facial and skincare solutions tailored to each individual needs. With her extensive knowledge of various treatments and techniques and her warm and caring approach, Nicole is committed to helping clients look and feel their best.

Beyond her remarkable skills in the spa, Nicole is a loving mother who cherishes the joys of family life. When she’s not at Pure Med Spa, she embraces every moment spent with her loved ones.

Taylor Groulx

Client Care Coordinator

Taylor is the first smiling face you will see when you enter our doors. She has spent the last decade in corporate America and brings a tremendous background in office administration and customer service. From supporting Fortune 500 C-level executives to event planning, Taylor has always aspired to provide exceptional support with her uplifting and positive attitude. She prides herself on being professional and reliable with the desire to give clients that best experience possible each time they walk through the doors of Pure Medical Spa. Taylor holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Northwood University and is a Bay City native.

Taylor is excited to be part of a team that strives to provide a warm, welcoming, and professional environment while continuously raising the bar on clear communication and standards of care.

When not at Pure Medical Spa, Taylor enjoys traveling, being outdoors, and spending time with her husband, Jon, family and friends.

Lauren Milewski

Social Media Coordinator

Meet Lauren, a vibrant and ambitious Sophomore at Dow High School, who’s setting her sights on becoming an anesthesiologist or CRNA in the future. But that’s not all; in the meantime, she’s honing her creative flair and passion for social media.

Lauren is a driven and goal-oriented individual, always seeking new challenges and opportunities to showcase her talents. As our social media coordinator, she brings a fresh and innovative perspective to our marketing efforts, infusing them with creativity and enthusiasm.

With a fun and outgoing personality, Lauren excels at effortlessly connecting with others, both within our team and our audience. Whether she’s interacting with colleagues or engaging with our followers on social media, Lauren leaves a lasting impression with her warm and authentic approach.

Beyond her dedication to her future career and social media endeavors, Lauren finds joy in spending her free time with friends and participating in volleyball. Her love for sports and social interactions makes her an excellent team player in all aspects of life.
