Who is an Ideal candidate for skinVive?
SkinVive is ideal for patients who wish to treat loss of hydration, texture issues, and fine lines. The product is safe for use on individuals of all skin types and tones.
How long do results last?
Patients will begin to notice a noticeable improvement in their skin after a single treatment session, with results improving over the first several weeks. In clinical trials, the results of SkinVive lasted up to 6 months. Patients can extend the results of SkinVive by undergoing periodic maintenance treatments.
How is skinVive performed?
SkinVive is injected into the dermis, (upper layer) of the skin using an ultra-thin needle. The injections are quick and the patient can return to normal activity Immediately following treatment.
Are SkinVive treatments painful?
Treatment is MINIMALLY painful as SkinVive contains Lidocaine to reduce discomfort during the injections. A topical numbing gel may also be utilized if desired. While many patients report feeling a brief “prick” on the skin as the needle is inserted, some may notice a brief sensation of pressure as the gel is inserted into the layers of the skin.
Are there any side effects of SkinVive treatments?
- As with any filler treatments, side effects ar rare and typically related to the injection process. Patients may notice some temporary localized swelling, bruising, and pinpoint bleeding at injection site. Other side effects are related to allergic reactions, which are extremely rare due to the presence of natural hyaluronic acid in the skin.

Pure Medical Spa has an outstanding, personable, friendly team and an even better atmosphere. This was my first experience at Pure Medical Spa. Upon entering the building, the staff were super friendly and welcoming! The check in process was super easy! They offered me water or coffee, which I gladly accepted. I had IV therapy with Kristen. She is an amazing person and was awesome to work with. I didn’t feel the needle for the IV going in at all! She sat with me the whole time and we talked and talked for the whole 30-40 minutes the infusion took. She made me feel very comfortable and made the whole experience about me. The Meyers Cocktail made me feel rejuvenated and I had the best night of sleep that night! I had energy again! No more feeling sluggish! I cannot wait for my next infusion!

I had my first appointment today at Pure Medical Spa and it was fantastic from beginning to end. Taylor at the front desk was amazing. It is very refreshing and relaxing to be greeted with not only professionalism but also a smiling face, Taylor truly makes you feel welcomed upon arrival. I received a HydraFacial today, and Paige was beyond amazing. She was very thorough and explained each step in the process. She was also great with answering any questions/concerns I had. My face truly looks and feels amazing. Shout out to Taylor and Paige for starting my day out today on a very positive note. Went for my first appointment today and I must say from making the appointment all the way to leaving my appointment each member of their team were all so warm, welcoming and inviting. Such a great experience to be in such a positive place and leave feeling all the love! The hydra facial I received just brightened me right up, and they were able to fit me in for a brow lamination which I have been wanting for so long! I was so thankful they have such a wide variety of services so I can pick and choose according to my budget with no pressure. It really shows that they focus on patient driven needs and it is a breath of fresh air to be able to walk in and have you feel like the number one priority.
